I’ve been through each of those turning points myself. So when you’re working out what’s next, you’re not talking to someone looking in from the outside.

The three moments I coach are the three I’ve lived.

✓ Stepping up – I moved into senior leadership in an ASX-listed hospitality and entertainment group, leading a team of 40 with end-to-end talent and P&L accountability. I was the in-house coach for General Managers stepping into the role. I know how lonely a bigger seat can feel.

✓ Stepping out – I’ve been made redundant, and I’ve been the one delivering the news. I’ve led people through changes of ownership and through major regulatory reform alongside McKinsey and PwC. I know that conversation from both sides of the table.

✓ Changing direction – I started in travel, running one of STA Travel’s most profitable stores nationally and developing the people behind it. Then tertiary education, before moving into corporate leadership in an ASX-listed group. I’ve owned two businesses and lived and worked on two continents, which shapes how I coach leaders working across cultures and markets. Every move meant a new industry, a bigger scope, and proving myself again.
